My father in law is suffering from a muscle degeneration disease. This up-lift seat allows him to sit in his favorite chair without the concern about being able to get up on his own afterwards. When he first used it and was able to get up, we had a room full of people with happy tears.

Really works..a great assist for my mother. Got alot of attention in her nursing home as people wanted to know where it came from. Great because it is [ortable and needs no electricity. Highly recommend. And Walgreens had best price I could find on line.

I can't begin to say how much this has helped me. I had laughed about the weight lifting exercises I have had to do every time I started to stand from a seated position, but it was no laughing matter. This seat has helped me more than I could have ever expected!

Good idea and design, not too practical, esp. for rising from edge of bed. Needs to be in place, only use for mother was in wheelchair, she couldn't weight it to go down.

This product helps Mom get up from her chair. She has arthritis in her knees and this product definitely is very helpful and useful!
