No time to get to the doctor over holidays, so bought this kit. Did test and it was bright yellow, indicating possible yeast infection. Bought a box of monistat, but a few weeks after, I was still having symptoms so I used another test stick that also came back bright yellow, indicating yeast. So I tried monistat again. However, weeks later, the area below was itching, burning and more... Finally went to see doctor and the diagnosis was a clear case of bacterial vaginosis! Not yeast! The test stick should have shown dark green for this. So I wasted lots of money, time and huge discomfort - I was pretty angry.

I was having symptoms I thought might be indicative of a yeast infection. I had recently seen a TV commercial for the screening kit, so I bought it. The first swab came back mostly yellow with a tiny tinge of darker color, which was confusing, so I tried the second. This time it came back almost entirely dark, indicating a high pH. So I went to the doctor and sure enough, I had bacterial vaginosis and not a yeast infection.
My only complaint is the two swabs were inconsistent, even though I used them exactly as directed both times. But I'm glad I bought the kit because otherwise I would have just treated myself for a yeast infection, which I did not have!

This product works very well and is easy to use. It comes with two tests so you can use one before and after your treatment. It was very helpful to me and it is worth the money.

Easy to use but the first time It didn't work. The nurse at the doctors told me it may have been because you can't test within 5 days of your period or a couple of days after intercourse

I recently had bacterial vaginosis, and started having the itching,burning, and discharge. I had no time to visit the doctor, and decided to purchase this product. I also thought it could possibly just be a yeast infection. This product was helpful, and very easy to use. I was able to find the appropriate treatment, and would use this product again.

I wasn't sure if I had yeast or bacterial vaginosis, this helped me to figure out which I had, called my doctor told her my initial symptoms, was sure it wasn't an STD, gave my ph level and doctor called in RX, saved me a doctor visit, the cost of test kit less than office visit. One reviewer noted upon opening the color was already at a high reading, same happened to me, small print notes color can be different with each test stick, when I used it color came down to lower reading.
