This brush is poorly made, the bristles came out as i used it. invest in a better brush. I would have given it less than one star but I couldn't.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Bucky the Badger Bad. Not even recommended as a starter
Don't get this thing wet. When you do, the glue starts to rot and eventually the hairs fall out. You end up with a soap mug full of boar hair. Boar hairs are rough on your skin. Badger hair is much better. Poor implementation of a good idea. A waste of money. For a little more you can get a good German or British badger brush that will last a good long time.

I only bought this brush to try out wet shaving for my sensitive skin. The brush is great for the price [$] at [...]. One very big con for me is this brush seems to smell like (i guess) a wet boar until its coated with soap. However for what I payed and expected it works great and I will be getting a nice badger hair brush now.

I agree with Brush Boy 2008 above - this would work well as a starter test brush to see if you really like wet shaving beyond the cans of ready whipped foam. Just don't expect it to last or be the holy grail of brush shaving. Spend the extra money and buy a GOOD Badger Hair brush. They ain't cheap but check out [...]. You'll be amazed at the difference. Treat a Badger Hair brush well and it'll last a decade or more.

There's a cost beyond wasting money on this "cheap" heap. BAD EXAMPLE OF A BRUSH1. The initial waste of [$](Who returns this?)2. The cost of my skin for a day3. The consequences of wasting animal's hide on something disposable!4. Unless #3 is wrong, and they used the floor-sweeping boar-hair.I'm returning this junk, without the receipt, or the packaging. What a waste!

I got the bug for a brush and picked this one up at my local Walgreen's. I also got he shave soap from the same manufacture. The brush is a bit rough but it was under $10 so why complain. You'll need a bit more time to produce lather with this brush. But it works well and you won't beat the price. [@]
