Most other thermometers are very inaccurate. This one claims to read within .2 degrees and I believe it. It gave us consistent readings when we were taking our baby's temp, and did it in seconds. FYI - I found it in the baby aisle - not with the other thermometers on the cold remedy aisle.

I don't use it in rectal style I use this in the underarm as I wanted to use it on other family members. Does a fast and accurate reading. I love it! It has a light that also glows after the reading is processed.

We've used this product for 2 years. It's the BEST thermometer we've purchased. These thermometers are the only accurate thermometers to use for infants. This one is compact and has an easy grip.
I would buy this for EVERYONE i know that has or is expecting a baby.

I started using this thermometer on my son from day one since I knew that taking temps this way is most accurate. Starting early is key because then baby gets used to the feeling and doesn't fight it. My son is now 14 months and hates it. 14 months of good use was worth it. For fevers when he was younger than 1 yo I felt it was the best read I can get. Also, you feel better getting a temp when the tip is so short you know you can't accidentally hurt baby. LOVE IT!!!
