I haven't used hair rollers since the 60's. These are a huge improvement over the old ones we used to use. These stay in place easily and the attached clip is great. I just use five in the front and crown to give me the volume I need for my straight hair style.

I purchased these rollers to substitute for hot rollers, since I'm trying to eliminate heat damage to my hair. They roll up nicely, and stay in OK as long as I don't shake my head a lot (as with any roller). I went so far as to watch youtube videos about velcro rollers to pick up unrolling tips so that I wouldn't pull my hair out. I found that as long as I hold the base of the hair section as I unroll the roller, it's all good. The attached clips are a little odd at first, but having the clip handy is a good. Since I'm going for volume and waves, I found that the tiny 1" rollers to be too small. Someone going for tight curls would love them though!

I saw the one review, however, I completely disagree with it. I have thin to medium hair and if I roll the roller down and clip at the root area the roller stays in place. I recently bought these and have been using them everyday. I love the medium to large sized rollers to create lots of sexy volume.

I bought these rollers to style my hair for a wedding. I wanted lots of volume and these rollers worked great. I dried my hair and then put these in. I then used my blow dryer to heat them up. Waited 20 minutes…continued to get ready…….took them out and my hair looked fabulous. Definetely recommend them. Love that the clip is built right in.

Whoever invented this product is a genius. I have been using bobby pins to hold my rollers in place. I love these rollers. I have medium hair and they hold really tight in mine. I put them in and then can put my makeup on without them falling out.

These don't really work well. The grip doesn't close all the way so it doesn't hold the curler tightly. You also need to clip it close to the scalp otherwise it merely unrolls. But even if you do that , it falls out with the slightest movement of your head. I have fine hair so I'm not sure if that is the reason, but I would not recommend this product.
