I bought this humidifier for my dorm room because it was so dry. The tank flooded the first couple times I used it and caused damage to my desk. Now, every time I try to use it, it doesn't produce mist and the water refill light transitions from green to yellow to red. It lasted me a month.

Every time when I put the water bottom into it, water flooded out, and filled most part of the tank, no air came out, but I could feel the back was hot.
Now I put a towel under it for the water...
It does not worth the trouble and cost.

I had some trouble with this humidifier with leaking when I first purchased it. Anyone experiencing leaking problems, MAKE SURE THE BOTTLE IS TIGHTLY SECURED TO THE NOZZLE. This was something I had overlooked early on. Overall, it's a good product that puts out a decent amount of steam. I would recommend.

This is a great personal humidifier, it's the best one I've had in years and performs as needed! No filters required and you can use regular tap water, all you need to add is a regular water bottle then plug it in -- I bought this humidifier for $24.99 two years ago and it included a water bottle; however, now the price is $28.99 and they do not include the water bottle. In any event, it's a great little machine. If you do have problems with overflow, I found that the problem is usually due to the water bottle not set completely straight on the machine when I put it on. Try tapping the spring mechanism on the screw top first and then set the bottle straighter on top of the machine and it should help.

I wanted a cool mist humidifier to replace the old one I have. The old one is big and bulky, requires filters and is so noisy I can hardly stand to run it. Tonight I looked at the filter - which was just changed a couple of days ago - and couldn't help but wonder what was growing in it. It was slimy and disgusting. I currently have bronchitis. The last thing I need is more bacteria floating around here. So, off to Walgreens I went. :)
I LOVE this little machine. It's silent, puts out an amazing amount of mist, and is small and compact enough to sit on an end table or night stand. Compliments of another reviewer, I purchased a Diet Pepsi, and the bottle is a perfect fit. No leaks, no drips, just great mist. I think I'm going to have to get one for my office too!
