Stay clear of this model. We loved it for the first 6 months or so. We have only used Distilled Water in the machine and yet now it leaks EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!!!! It used to use 1 gallon of water every other night. Now a gallon will get you through half a night of misting and a drenched table in the morning! The product leaks from the bottom of the machine, not the spout, the bottom!!! We put puppy training pads underneath the unit to see where the water was coming from, it didn't take long to see it. Now we have no box, no receipt and no chance of getting anything useful out of this product. Don't waste your time or money, choose a different product!!!!

I have severe dry eye and need moist air not only in my bedroom but my office and TV room. I own three of these. The oldest is 4 years old and runs all day every day in my office and it is still going strong. You won't get a better humidifier for the money. I have paid three times this for a humidifier that didn't last one season. It's cheap, easy to fill, easy to clean, doesn't need expensive filters and it really humidifies the air. Yes, you will have some white dust when it is brand new but that is true of ALL cool mist humidifiers. And after its run for a while that goes away.

This was purchased in store because it was out of stock online. It DOES leak. The problem is in the design of the mist output control. Water collects in the small channel and runs down the front of the machine. Within just a few hours, at least one fourth of the gallon that had been put in the tank was all around the base of the machine. The mist output is great, but the control knob needs to be redesigned. Have had the machine less than one day. It will be returned.

I think it is the best ever. I looked around all the stores . Wallmart ,CVS,and four other stores. The walgreens humidifier was the best price and it worked the best of all. It had the mist you can see and it was real quiet. I love it one of my friends paid like a hundred for his and this one is even better.

The short and sweet is that this humidifier left a huge puddle under its base over night. I was lucky enough to pick it up in the morning to see if there was any water or else it would've damaged the wood of my bedside table.
It's pretty quiet and did help me throughout the night. But if you're going to design a product that's suppose to hold water then I would hope that the product does at least that. Poor design. Would not recommend.
