The Ethyl alcohol is a great rubbing alcohol that also serves as a solvent for inks! I still use fountain pens, and it alows me to "deep" clean my pens when they get dry-up.

Pros: just like the name brand, mixes craft inks well, works well on scratched cds and dvds

Now, I'll tell you outright that I don't use this for medicinal purposes. I use it to clean scraped CDs and DVD's, a little on a glasses lens cleaner does wonders. I also use this for mixing with alcohol inks for crafting purposes-also works great for that. I was unsure about buying Walgreens brand, because my alcohol inks are expensive and I didn't want to mix solutions that wouldn't work well because of the rubbing alcohol. However, I took a risk and was pleasantly surprised. Worked just as well as the name brand stuff I had just ran out of :)
