LPR (silent reflux) is hard to control with regular antiacids and even omeprazole and zantex don't help much. But this product, which like Gaviscon, has alginates, helps stop the lump in the throat. Just wish it lasted a bit longer.

For anyone who has used Gaviscon, this is a real treasure. It has exactly the same ingredients, and works in exactly the same way; without the pain in your wallet. Just follow the instructions, and your heartburn or acid reflux will be controlled - albeit temporarily. I especially love it at night, because like Gaviscon, it helps you get a decent night's sleep without the agony of your esophagus feeling like it is on fire. Hooray, Walgreens!
