I've been using walgreens brand solution for at least 10 years now. I tried it because you can get 2 for the price of one name brand. I've never had a problem with my eyes burning or itching like the other reviews have mentioned. Not saying it didn't do that to them, but that has not happened to me. Only time my eyes have burned using this solution is if I try to use them after only letting them soak for 4-5 hours and throw them into my eyes real quick because I'm running out the door. but I'm pretty sure that happens, or has happened with name brand also.

Have used Walgreen's Multi purpose contact soulution for years and have been very happy w it. I have allergies & am sensitive to different things but when I use Walgreen's solution I don't have any problems w my eyes. I try to buy when having a sale but even if not the price is reasonable. I've tried other products but was not happy w them so continue to use Walgreen's Multi purpose solution.

My husband bought this and both of us used it, and both of us now have dry/itchy eyes. I've tried everything (rinsing/rubbing/sterilizing case) and it is most definitely this solution. It may seem like a great value, but it's the worst store brand I've tried. Take good care of your eyes and avoid this product.

This stuff made my eyes burn. My eyes were so dry after using this, I couldn't wear my contacts for more than 2 hours
