Allergy alert: do not use this product if you have a history of allergy to local anesthetics such as procaine, butacaine, benzocaine or other "caine" anesthetics. When using this product

Avoid contact with eyes
Do not use more than directed
Do not use for more than 7 days unless told to do so by a dentist or doctor

Stop use and ask a doctor if

Sore mouth symptoms do not improve in 7 days
Swelling, rash or fever develops
Irritation, pain or redness persists or worsens

Rated 2 out of 5 by Derik Cheap, but for a reason Contains the same active ingredient as Orajel(20% Benzocaine), but the biggest issue with the Walgreens brand is the actual paste. It's pasty and hard to rub on your mouth sores, which in the process defeats the purpose of what you're trying to do- soothe the pain. It eventually does start working, but it isn't without the difficulty of rubbing your mouth sores to death in the process. The Orajel brand is much better in that it is gel-like and applying it to your sores is much easier. April 12, 2013
