Misleading Title

Cons: misleading title

I also ended up taking only DHA pill for last 2 months for my first Trimester. I also believed that each bottle contains combination of Prenatal + DHA. Walgreens has to label 1 bottle 'only PRENATAL' and other bottle 'ONLY DHA '. I feel so guilty today on realizing that I have not been taking prenatal for last 2 months which are critical for my baby's development. I request Walgreens to please change an provide appropriate labels on the two bottles. And please take this very seriously, as its most critical information and plays important role in the development baby. Many women take pills with assumption, dont go reading each and every line. I do agree it is mentioned clearly, but the very label on bottle is misleading. Its an earnest request to change the labels so as to prevent women from doing this gravest mistake like I did for last 2 months. I just pray my baby is fine.

Regarding the pills, they are good and have no concerns on it.

Wrong labels!!!

I also thought that each bottle contains Prenatal vitamins plus DHA because it said so right on the bottle. Unfortunately I did not notice that untill I opened a second bottle. This means that for two months ( in first trimester, when it is very important to take DHA as well) I did not take it becuase of this stupid way of labeling this product! I opened the second bottle and it was just DHA----great! It should not say prenatal +DHA on each bottle it should be separate like every other brand!

Misleading Labeling!

Both of the bottles in the package are labeled incorrectly. Each bottle is labeled "Prenatal & DHA," but 1 bottle has only the prenatal vitamin, and the other bottle has only the DHA. It would be easy for someone to think that each bottle has both ingredients (as labeled) and only take 1 pill, thinking it's a combination pill, since such combos are on the market, and even on the Walgreens website. This labeling is inexcusable.

I love that these vitamins contain a vegetarian sourced DHA plus the price is great for a 2 months supply. I haven't noticed a smell or an aftertaste like some of the other reviewers. I usually take them immediately after breakfast & haven't experienced any nausea from them. I wish I had discovered these prior to my 8th month of pregnancy.

Pros: does not cause nausea

This prenatal vitamin is the first that I've found that does not cause me to have nausea. Plus it has DHA, which is supposed to support brain and eye functions - an added plus!!

Pros: no red dye 40, beta carotene as source of vitamin a, plenty of folic acid, not too much calcium, doesn't cause nausea, good amount of iron

Cons: bottle labeling is not great, dha has a slight odor

These are pretty good prenatals. I was really picky about what I wanted and didn't want in my vitamins and these fit the bill; No red dye 40. They use carmine, which I'm fine with. The vitamin A source is beta carotene. Plenty of folic acid. Not too much calcium. Calcium takes up a lot of room in a one-a-day. -Better to take it separately, otherwise this pill would be too big to swallow. These pills don't make me nauseous. Two complaints: the DHA softgel has a bit of a smell to it, which is kind of off-putting. And the two bottles look the same. I don't know until I open them which pill is inside.
