This probiotic works great and is very inexpensive considering the potency (20 billion CFU). Does not need refrigeration.

I was taking another Walgreens product with the same ingredients, but in a smaller, spherical pill form.
I had hip surgery and was on Vicodin for two months. When I stopped the medication, after the consipation subsided, I was having diarrhea on a daily basis. I would take Immodium, which would constipate me for a few days, then I would be regular for a day or two, then right back to diarrhea. It was relentless.
Once I started taking the probiotic supplement, within a week, My dependence on Immodium was greatly reduced. Certain dietary elements, such as coffee or mexican food, will still cause an upset, but it passes without much fuss.
