Rated 3 out of 5Â by JD in MS OK job, but overpriced
These pads are "only OK" and certainly not for heavier flow. They compare to Always only in that they come in a green package and they have full wings instead of tabs like so many other brands.
However, before you buy these, you should know something... these are the EXACT same generic pad as the Equate version. They may be distributed by their parent companies, but they are manufactured by the same company (check the patent number!) I currently have some medical issues that mean I'm buying pads constantly, and due to household budget cuts, I decided to try stepping away from my go-to Always brand. I tried the Equate brand, and it was so-so. Then I decided I'd spend a little more and try the Walgreen's version. Lo and behold, when I opened it up, I had to check the package to verify I wasn't crazy! A little bit of reading showed me they share a patent number. The only difference? Walgreen's sells for nearly double the price. So while they're an OK purchase in an emergency, they're only a little less costly than Always (if you're buying at Walgreens) and twice as costly as the same product elsewhere. When in doubt, I'd spend the extra buck for Always if I had to (MUCH better absorption) or wait until Walmart if it wasn't an emergency.

I first purchased these when I was on vacation and ran out of my always pads. These are good to use on light to medium days and work well for that but for heavy days I would choose something else. I would and have purchased these again when on sale. I have not tried the new and improved version of this pad.
