My husband has used this product since 1970"s.
No other hair product has been in his hair.
He swears by it. Walgreens has been the only
store that i can find Wildroot.

I'm African American and my Mom used this product to groom my hair when I was a child. I thought it was no longer being made, so when I found it online at Walgreens I couldn't believe it! It's lighter than hair oil and has a pleasant scent.

This is the best product I used it when I was a baby on up and I'm a woman I also now used it on my son hair and it's wonderful it makes the hair grow, makes it shiny and curly. I reccomend this prodcuts to all new mother if you have a boy or girl!! It doesnt matter the hair texture!!

This is a great find. It's perfect for getting a cleancut, classy slicked down look without the stiffness of gels. It's a liquid cream that massages easily into hair. It keeps hair neat, sleek, and in place all day. It has a pleasent fragrance that is not overpowering. Makes hair soft. Easy to rearrange hair and keeps the shiny wet look even after recombing.
You can use a little for light control, or more if you really want the classic slicked down look. This is the real stuff fellas - it's what your dad or granddad used, but it works great - I guess that's why it's still a classic.
Is awesome for flexible styling options - great for that 'bed head' look, slick Ivy League cuts, and classic businessman haircuts.
Since it is lanolin based and not water based, it is a little harder to wash out than gells. But using a good shampoo is all it takes.
The unexpected side effect of using Wildroot is that after using it regularly, your hair will be very well conditioned. I love the softness it imparts to hair, even after using some of the harshest shampoo and blowdrying.
