I was quite pleased when I read that these products didn't test on animals or use any animal biproducts and also didn't use SLS. My expectations weren't extremely high b/c I have tried a lot of more natural products that are below average. However, I LOOOOVE Yes to Carrots Nourishing Shampoo. I have very fine/thin hair that is chemically treated, so I have to be careful that it isn't too harsh or will weigh it down. It was the perfect balance and I love the fragrance! So clean & fresh! I have only been using it for a week but this is definitely my favorite shampoo out of all the others I have tried!

Cons: makes me lose hair in shower and out, weird feeling on hair

I bought this shampoo because it was SLS free, something that I needed for my hair. It was a big mistake. I'm under 20, and i lost about 5 inches of hair from my head, from using this product. Every time i stepped out of the shower, and every time I run my hand through my hair, a bunch of hair comes out. It's so terrible. I hate it. My hair looks really uneven now. And I am never using this shampoo again. It's horrid. I am switching to a different shampoo asap

Purchased this as I was looking for something Organic and/or Truly Natural. It sounded really interesting, plus it was on sale. I liked how it felt after rinsing, it seemed really smooth. However, I was overwhelmed by the Perfume. Very Strong! It did not state on the bottle a couple of things that I questioned. The way I see it, if you are going to label yourself as Organic or Natural - you need to go all of the way.

Great Natural Shampoo

Cons: smells like baby powder

I have tried about 3 other natural shampoos and this one is by far the best. The first time I used it I wasn't that impressed. Second time I used it I left it in for 2 minutes( like the bottle says to do) and noticed a difference. Other natural shampoos I had to wash my hair everyday. Yes to Carrots I can go 2 or 3 days between washes.

Ineffective at cleaning

Cons: Doesn't Clean, leaves hair very oily

I typically wash my hair every other day in the morning.
This shampoo did not do a good job at cleaning my scalp at all though. Yes, it smells good, but even after drying my hair, my hair looked oily, and by night it looked terrible. And I don't even have an oily scalp.
I decided to give it another shot so I washed my hair with the same shampoo the next day, only to get the same results.
All in all, a disappointment, because not all of this brand's products are bad, such as the lip gloss or lotion. But don't let the caption about beta-carotene and Dead Sea salts convince you; at least for me, this shampoo did the opposite of what was said.
