I will not compare this pen to other pens..... The pen ink does not dry quick. The pen dispenses ink in blots so there little dots of ink while no ink comes out. The top constantly pops off.It is unreliable. Also this would not be good for writing checks w/ because it does not dispense enough ink to be consider "safe"
