Fragrance Too Strong

The product itself seems to be a good product for its intended purpose. I can't attest to its efficacy, because I obviously don't have a lab and can't test the bacteria levels on my hands before and after using. I'll just have to take their word that it's doing its job. I can only say that I wish I'd bought the regular clear version. I purchased this version because of the added aloe, which I thought would be good to counteract the drying effects of the alcohol. However, I neglected to read the ingredients and didn't realize it had fragrance in it. Don't get me wrong, the fragrance is really nice, but I wouldn't want to eat any finger foods (sandwiches, french fries, etc.) with this product still on my hands. Not only do I not want to ingest the artificial fragrance (and a few other chemical ingredients that the clear version doesn't have), but I can't imagine tasting anything but the overpowering smell of the product. Again, the smell is great, it's just a bit too much. Also, other folks have mentioned that they don't feel a residue, but I do notice one. It's not sticky or anything, it's just there, letting you know that while your hands might be sanitized, they're still not exactly "clean".

Effective and Kind on Your Hands

Pros: Moisturizing, Kills bacteria, Pleasant Smell, Easy To Use

This product is highly effective at killing germs on the surface of your hands. It leaves a clean scent with no sticky residue. It is especially needed now with H1N1 BUT it does not replace frequent and thorough hand washing.
It's great for kids, too!

Cons: Can Be Pricey

I buy the travel size and have one in my purse, bedside, and my car. I use it many times daily and I've tried store brands, but they always leave a residue behind. This product leaves no residue or sticky feeling! I will use this for many years to come!

Pros: Leaves Skin Soft, Gentle, Easy To Use, Kills Germs

I keep a large bottle in the bathrooms and the kitchen, and I keep travel sizes in my purse. One never really knows when one will need to use Purell; I'm thrilled that such a quality product is available in many sizes and forms. It's cooling and soothing, as well as effective. I've used it for years, and plan to keep on using it for many more years.
