- Zero Water's comprehensive filtration technology has been simplified into the convenience of a filter pitcher.
- Most water filter pitchers have only one technology for cleaning your water.
- Zero Water has four technologies designed to remove contaminants from multiple categories.
- Stage 1: A 20 to 50 micron filter designed to remove suspended solids such as dust and rust that make your water appear cloudy.
- Stage 2: A two-component system designed for organic contaminants.
- Stage 3: A distributor screen for removal of suspended solids.
- Stage 4: Specialty resins designed for inorganic compounds, such as metals and non-metals, as well as radiological contaminants.
- Stage 5: A 1 micron filter designed to remove suspended solids.
- How long your filter lasts depends on how much water you use and the amount and composition of contaminants in your tap water.
- For tap water reading 200 on the water tester, one filter will clean approximately 25 to 30 gallons of water.
- Change your filter when filtered water reads 006.
- Don't settle for filters that contain only carbon.
- They remove chlorine, but many other chemicals can cause your water to taste bad and be less than perfect.
- What does the water tester do?
- The electronic water tester displays total dissolved solids - TDS - in water.
- How does it work?
- It's easy, with a push of a button the electrodes in the bottom of the meter measure the amount of ions in the water and convert that amount to a number which displays on the screen.
- What do the numbers mean?
- The numbers represent the milligrams per liter of dissolved solids that exist in your water sample.
- The higher the number, the more contaminants that are in your water.
- Why is this important?
- The tester will empower you to be able to evaluate the cleanliness of whatever water you're drinking - bottles, tap, filtered, etc.
- The cleanest water will show a reading of 000.
