The unique design of this pill cutter provides a clean-cut pill without the danger of cutting fingers.  When closed, a super sharp stainless steel blade cuts pills in half for easier swallowing.  When the cutter is opened, the unique safety shield moves into place to completely cover the sharp blade so fingers cannot come in contact with it.  Flexible wings hold even the largest pill for an even cut.

For use:

1. Place pill into ®V® shaped holder (figure A on package)
2. Close cover to split pill
3. Remove cut halves of pill from dispensing tray (figure B on package)
4. Close cover and store in closed position

Cleaning: Before using, and after each use, wash with warm water.

1. Open pill cutter to approximately a 30 degree angle as shown in figure 1 (on package)
2. Flush pill cutter with warm water to rinse
3. Stand the pill cover on end in a partially open position as shown in figure 2 (on package) to air dry

Note:  Enteric-coated pills are intended to be swallowed whole and should never be cut before taking.
