I was wonderfully suprised at how well this worked. I have tried a couple different "superstay/longwear" lipcolors and have been sadly disappointed. However this works great! I put it on in the morning let it dry a little bit before adding the top coat and it stays. It feels soft on my lips like I am only wearing lip balm. It doesn't dry out my lips like other products have and I don't have to keep reapplying the top coat.
I did reapply the top coat after eating just as a softener touch up but the color was still strong and not faded.
I am wearing it today and so far I have eaten breakfast and lunch and it looks as good as when I put in on this morning.
I am definitely sold on this product. For those of you looking for a great product to last all night this is it!

I have this in red, and every time I wear it, I am so glad I did! It stays on so well (through eating and drinking, no problem), doesn't dry out my lips too much, and the color looks great. I work in film so I am around professional make-up artists and several have commented on how the red is "just the right shade." I can't believe I haven't bought more colors yet, but next trip to the store, I will!

I have been loyal to Covergirl Outlast Lipcolor for over 5 years and think it is a terrific product, but recently I tried Maybelline Super Stay 24 2-Step Lip Color and I think I might like it a little better. It's a close call. They are about the same price, the M24 is just .10 oz compared to CG's .13 oz. The M24 has a bigger applicator which gets it on easier. I only tried the M24 in a light color (Timeless Toffee) but it looked good all day, wore off evenly, went on smooth, dried fast, but didn't dry out my lips as much as the CG and stayed pretty moist looking (compared to CG which looks really dry and brings out fine lines in my 43 yo lips). I don't use the topcoat on either, but the CG really needs it and the M24 doesn't. They both stay on all day but the CG wears off unevenly especially in the darker colors. I need a lip liner with both, I wish they would make coordinating Outlast/24 lip liner. I am very fair skinned but both brands are lacking in deeper shades for when I have a little tan, and I find both are misrepresented by the color on the box compared to the color in the tube. I like both but I think I'm going to buy more of the M24 if it's on sale.

I brought some of this lipstick and it really stays on. I suggested it to a friend and she brought some too and said the same thing. We both bought different shades. I did the red and she the berry and they are great. This stuff is the best I have found. Also the red is a true red and that is very hard to come by. Love it.

i just bought this today but there were way more colors in the store, not that much were online. It lasts so long i put it up to the test and it easily removes too!! love it and want to buy more in different colors!
