A1C Testing

A1C testing is available for patients self-identified as having diabetes. The A1C test gives you a picture of your average blood glucose control for the last 2 to 3 months.

Walgreens pharmacists administer an A1C blood test by finger stick, and the results will give you a good idea of how well your diabetes treatment plan is working. Each test includes a blood pressure check and a personal consultation from a Walgreens pharmacist to discuss your results.

Check your A1C twice a year at a minimum, or more frequently when necessary. Tests are available to those ages 18 and over at select stores during pharmacy hours daily with no appointment necessary.
