Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. SWEEPSTAKES ONLY OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 48 CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES, PLUS THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, ALASKA AND HAWAII WHO ARE AT LEAST EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE AS OF 9/26/08. SWEEPSTAKES SHALL BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO UNITED STATES LAW. DO NOT ENTER THIS SWEEPSTAKES IF YOU ARE NOT A LEGAL U.S. RESIDENT AND LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. VOID IN PUERTO RICO, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS, U.S. TERRITORIES AND POSSESSIONS AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

1. ELIGIBILITY: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR CLAIM PRIZE. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING. Sweepstakes open only to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States, plus the District of Columbia, Alaska and Hawaii who are at least eighteen (18) years of age as of September 26, 2008. Employees of Walgreen Co., retail locations, (hereinafter “Online Registrar”), The Dial Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “Sponsor”), Henkel Corporation and the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the NBA Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc. (collectively “NBA Entities”), their employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives (and their immediate families (mother, father, sister, brother, child, husband, wife), and persons living in the households of each, or parent companies, members, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies, design, web design, web hosting, law firms and anyone connected with the production and distribution of this Sweepstakes are prohibited from participating in the Sweepstakes. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

2. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM Central Time (“CT”) on September 26, 2008, and ends at 11:59:59 PM CT on October 25, 2008, (the “Sweepstakes Period”).

3. HOW TO ENTER:

(I) Online: Visit www.walgreens.com/rightguard during the Sweepstakes Period. If you are a first-time visitor to the Walgreens.com web site, you must first register as a Walgreens.com web site user by selecting the “Register now” link on the sweepstakes page. If you are already a Walgreens.com web site user registered on Walgreens.com, select the “Log in now” link. After you have registered and/or logged in as a Walgreens.com web site user, you must complete and submit the official sweepstakes entry form as directed. Online entries must be received and recorded by 11:59:59 PM CT on October 25, 2008. Limit one (1) online entry per name and per e-mail address per each consecutive twenty-four (24) hour period for this Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period. Walgreens.com administrator’s computer is the official clock for online entries for this sweepstakes.

(II) Mail-In: Complete official entry form available in the October issue of the EasySaver Catalog or hand print on a 3”x 5” plain piece of paper your name, complete mailing address, phone number and date of birth. Mail your entry in an envelope (no larger than #10 business size) with proper postage and postmarked by October 25, 2008, and received by October 31, 2008 to:

Limit one (1) mail-in entry per stamped outer envelope per day. Mass entries and partially completed and/or mechanically reproduced entries or rubber-stamped entries will be void and ineligible. All mail-in entries must be postmarked by October 25, 2008 and received by October 31, 2008. Entries postmarked after October 25, 2008 will be void and ineligible. All entries received become the sole property of Sponsor or Online Registrar, respectively, and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor and Online Registrar are not responsible for illegible, late, lost, mutilated, misdirected, postage due or stolen entries. Sweepstakes results will be made available beginning on or about December 12, 2008. See Winner’s List information below.

4. DRAWING/ODDS OF WINNING PRIZE: On or about November 19, 2008, a random drawing will be conducted at Walgreen Co. in Deerfield, Illinois and judged by Integrated Marketing Services, an independent judging organization whose decision is final, from among all eligible entries received to award One (1) Grand Prize, Fifty (50) First Prizes and Two Hundred (200) Second Prizes. Winners will be notified by mail within 10 days of drawing. Potential Grand Prize winner will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release that must be signed, notarized and returned within 12 days. Ineligibility or noncompliance within this time period, or return of any prize as undeliverable, will result in disqualification in which case prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be randomly selected from the other eligible entries received.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Entries submitted for the The Right Guard® “Never Get Caught Off Guard™” NBA All-Star Sweepstakes are only eligible for this sweepstakes and do not remain eligible for any subsequent drawings or sweepstakes.

5. PRIZES: One (1) Grand Prize trip for two (2) to NBA All-Star 2009 on 2/13/09 through 2/15/09 (the NBA Rookie Challenge on Friday night, NBA All-Star Saturday Night and the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night) in Phoenix, AZ. Trip consists of: two (2) tickets (winner plus one guest) to an exclusive instructional Fantasy Camp* lead by NBA legends and current players, roundtrip, coach class air travel for two (2) from major airport nearest winner’s residence to Phoenix AZ; three (3) days/three (3) nights hotel accommodations (one room; double occupancy); meal allowance of $600, rental car, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, for length of stay (eligible drivers only; excludes: gas, insurance, collision damage waiver, tolls, parking fees and is subject to car rental terms and conditions). If winner lives within 100 miles of the chosen location, ground transportation may be substituted in lieu of air transportation at Sponsor’s sole discretion. No compensation will be provided in lieu of air transportation. If a winner is not eligible to rent a car a $150 allowance will be provided in lieu in the form of a check and winner will be responsible for transportation unless otherwise noted. Additional restrictions may apply. Once travel arrangements are confirmed, no changes will be permitted. Any other unspecified expenses including, but not limited to, incidental hotel expenses, and gratuities are the sole responsibility of the winner. Guest of winner may only be a minor if winner is guest's parent or legal guardian. A minor who is younger than 12 years of age may not participate in the camp. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $6,000. Actual trip value may vary based on point of departure and airfare fluctuations. Meal allowance will be awarded as a check made payable to the winner. In the event winner does not use the Fantasy Camp to its full extent, a refund will not be made. All travel arrangements will be made by Sponsor. Trip arrangement must be completed by 1/30/09. Winner and guests must be available to travel on the same itinerary. All travel and lodging will be at the traveler’s risk. All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein are solely the responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. All travel subject to availability. Other restrictions may apply. Sponsor and Online Registrar assume no responsibility for cancelled, delayed, suspended or rescheduled events. Travel guest must sign and return a travel release before any ticketing or travel occurs.

* Right Guard All-Star Fantasy Camp:

• Up to four (4) hours for a “basketball clinic” featuring “NBA experience” elements for Fantasy Camp participants (e.g., basketball training and drills, motivational instruction and nutritional session)
• Appearances by NBA Players and/or NBA Legends at the Fantasy Camp, including an NBA Player or NBA Legend attending a lunch with Fantasy Camp participants and autographing basketball items for Fantasy Camp participants.
• Fantasy Camp apparel and NBA basketball for each Fantasy Camp participant
• One (1) welcome dinner for Fantasy Camp participants for each Fantasy Camp (for a total of two (2) welcome dinners; collectively, the “Welcome Dinners”)

Fifty (50) First Prizes will be awarded. Each First Prize Winner will receive one (1) $175 NBAStore.com Gift Card. Gift Card use is subject to terms and conditions set by NBAStore.com.

Two Hundred (200) Second Prizes will be awarded. Each Second Prize Winner will receive one (1) $50 Walgreens Gift Card. Gift Card use is subject to terms and conditions set by Walgreens Co.

ARV of all prizes $24,750. All prizes will be awarded provided they are properly claimed. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitutions are allowed except by Sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. Failure to comply with any requirement of the Sweepstakes Rules may result in forfeiture of Prize and selection of an alternate winner. Limit one (1) prize per family or household. All applicable taxes on prizes are the responsibility of the winner.

6. RELEASE/INDEMNIFICATION: By entering and/or accepting the prize, each of the participants and Winners release and agree to hold harmless Walgreen Co., The Dial Corporation, Henkel Corporation and NBA Entities, their parents, divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, promotion and public relation agencies of each from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, or participation in this Sweepstakes.

7. GENERAL: No substitution, transfer or cash redemption of prize permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize in whole or part with a prize of equal or comparable value should an advertised prize become unavailable. Sweepstakes is subject to applicable federal, state and local laws. All expenses relating to acceptance and use of prize and not specified are the sole responsibility of winners. By participating, entrants agree a) to these Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor and judges which shall be final and binding in all respects and in all matters relating to this promotion; b) to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Walgreen Co., The Dial Corporation, Henkel Corporation and NBA Entities, and their respective advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies, agents and representatives and all of their respective employees, officers and directors from any liability or responsibility whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss of or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light), arising out of or in connection with the sweepstakes or from their acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, or participation in the sweepstakes or any sweepstakes related activity; and c) if a winner, to the announcement/use of name, voice, image and/or likeness for trade, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes without compensation, except for residents of Tennessee and where prohibited by law, by Sponsor and NBA Entities and those acting pursuant to Sponsor’s direction, including, but not limited to Online Registrar, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, including but not limited to the World Wide Web, without notice, review or approval and agrees to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so. Grand Prize winners will be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, liability and (where legal) publicity release, which must be returned within time specified by Sponsor or an alternate winner will be selected. If documents or any prize are returned as non-deliverable, or if winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected. Sponsor, Online Registrar, their respective advertising and promotion agencies, all of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, agencies, agents and representatives and all of their respective officers, directors and employees are not responsible and shall not be liable for: a) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunction, technical errors or by any human error which may occur in the processing of entries, or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information, or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information; b) failed, incomplete, garbled, corrupted or delayed computer transmissions; c) lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible or postage-due entries or mail; or d) any condition caused by events that may cause the sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the sweepstakes or any portion thereof should any causes corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the sweepstakes, and select the winner from entries received prior to the action taken or in such other manner as deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor.

Acceptance of prize shall constitute and signify the winner’s agreement and consent that Sponsor, NBA Entities and Online Registrar may use his/her name, address (city and state only), likeness, and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any media now existing or hereinafter devised, without additional compensation, where legal. Tennessee residents need not consent or sign any publicity release. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to: (i) disqualify from this or any Sweepstakes it sponsors, now or in the future, any person it finds, in its sole discretion, has intentionally violated these official rules, tampered with the entry process, the operation of the Sweepstakes, or any other aspect of this Sweepstakes; and (ii) cancel or suspend part or all of this Sweepstakes in the event that printing errors, tampering, fraud, unauthorized intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes. In such event, Sponsor may award prizes in a random drawing from all eligible entries received prior to the date of cancellation or suspension.

8. ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS: By entering this sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges that shall be final and binding in all respects. Walgreen Co., its retail locations, The Dial Corporation, nor their agencies is responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by web site users, tampering, hacking or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the promotion and assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or technical error or unauthorized access to the web site. Sponsor, or a party acting for Sponsor, reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry or the operation of the promotion or web site; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; to be acting in violation of the terms of the web site, or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry methods will disqualify all entries and votes using such methods. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In the event that production, technical, electronic, digital, seeding, programming, or any other reasons cause more than the stated number of prizes in any prize category, as set forth in these Official Rules, to be available and/or claimed, Sponsor reserves the right to award only the stated (but unawarded) number of prizes in that prize category by a random drawing from among all legitimate eligible prize claimants in that prize category. Entry information and entries becomes property of Sponsor for mail-in entries and Online Registrar for online entries, respectively. In case of dispute, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to enter the sweepstakes, at actual time of entry, will be deemed to be the participant and must comply with these Official Rules. The authorized account subscriber is deemed to be a natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet Access Provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.
