Review of Aveeno Moisturizing Bar For Dry Skin

The Aveeno soap is used to moisturize my Dry Skin while it also cleans and prevents any skin infection. I have no scaling or loss of skin with the use of this soap. It is the only soap that I can find that has all these qualities. I am very glad to be able to count on the Walgreen's drug store to stock this product which is used daily by me and my family members.

I'll never use another soap on my face

Pros: Moisturizes, Non-Greasy, Softens Skin, Lightweight, Soothes Skin

I use to have persistent acne before switching to this soap. My face is so much softer, smoother, and my skin tone is slowly but surely evening out.

I use Neutrogena Skin ID but I substitute their cleanser with this Aveeno soap and just use their acne treatment lotion. I use it twice a day. My skin has drastically improved and no more dry flaky spots. I use Aveeno daily moisturizing lotion w oatmeal on my face as well. What a difference!

Don't be fooled by the price

Cons: Lather

I recently moved to an extremely dry climate. My combination/oily skin became dry, flaky, and itchy. I tried high end skincare lines and over the counter products, but none of them brought relief to my skin. At that point I was starting to get discouraged. I decided to go out on a whim and try this product. After all, I wouldn't be losing much if it didn't work out since the cost wouldn't even put a dent in my pocket. I've been using the Aveeno Moisturizing Bar for about 2 weeks now and my skin is finally back to normal! No more dry, flaky, itchy, and irritated skin! On top of all of these skin issues, I also have very sensitive skin. So, the fact that my skin did not react to this product was a miracle! The only slight downside is that it doesn't lather very well but I don't see that as a problem. It still did a great job of taking off make up and cleansing the face. As a side note, I used this product with a moisturizing cream.

Once I tried it for the first time, I couldn't use any other soap bar. The problem is that I couldn't find it again at any stores; that's the reason I had to order it on-line.

The best thing I ever did for my skin was buying this! Left my skin feeling extremely smooth, when it usually feels dry or flaky. I would not stop touching my skin after! The only problems with it are the bad smell, and it doesn't lather that great. You should try it- especially if you have sensitive skin.
