This is a great product for anyone with braces. The prices are pretty high but Walgreens had the best price around.

We love these flossers. They are the only ones my son can use with his braces by himself. We tried the threaders and I had to help him with those. We also tried other flossers that look similar but they are too wide to fit behind the wire. They are also made in the USA!!

Greatest thing for braces!

I don't know why every orthodontist ISN'T recommending these! The time and hassle of flossing with braces is just too much for a kid on a regular basis. These devices simplify and streamline the process such that it CAN get done! My son was able to reuse the flossers until they broke. Some would last a couple days, some more like a week. One package has lasted almost 6 months, which makes them very cost effective.

Put it this way. Before Platypus, my son wasn't flossing. Now, he is. It's that simple. There are all kinds of reasons and excuses and plans of doing better, but none of that will repair the damage after braces if he doesn't floss. We are really grateful to have found this product. It makes flossing with braces a realistic goal.

Cons: break too easily

The concept of these flossers is excellent. If only the quality were that good. The flossers break rather easily. Still beats the alternative of threading! Walgreens price on this product is great compared to competition.
