There was a period in my life lasting about 5 months where I was searching for the perfect product for my hair. I tried all sorts of gel, glue, promade, gum - everything. After I used my first container of FX Molding Wax, I knew I found my forever product <3.
When my hair is short, it holds my spikeys or faux hawk very well without being sticky or greasy. (other wax products made me look like I needed to wash my hair!) It gives my hair a very nice looking texture, and leaves my hair pliable all day. If I want to change the style, all I need to do is simply run my fingers through my hair and re work it.
When my hair grows out and gets a bit longer, I put a small ammount of wax in the palm of my hand and rub them together. Add some water to dilute, and rub my hands through every hair on my head. This eliminates my hair from being poofy when it drys and allows me to add some style if I want to later (again, by working my hands through my hair - it litterally stays where you put it).
I know people say that you don't get a lot in the container but you don't need to use a lot either. Rubbing your finger lightly on the surface picks up just about enough for guys who have short hair. Just rub it in your palms and spread it to where you want it. You will see that your hair stays where you put it, all while looking like you didn't put anything in it!
When I brought my things home from school, my sister nosed through all of my hair care products and tried out my wax. Now the both of us use this wax every day! I use it for my spikes and she uses it to make her bangs go in a certain way. So, it's very versatile for men and women. Oh, and it does smell very good.
