I've used this product in the past but didn't apply it twice a day as directly. I had horrible stretch marks with my first pregnancy and mild marks with my second. I decided to try Bio Oil again for my 3rd pregnancy - as directed. I also get little bumps on my arms in the summer when exposed to too much sun, so I tried it there. Although expensive for such a small amount, the 4.2 oz bottle lasted me 7 weeks being applied to my arms & thighs 1x a day and my belly 2x a day. My arms have not broke out in bumps all summer long (and we've had a hot, sunny summer so far) and my belly looks like the old stretch marks are fading and no new ones that I can see.

I used the oil on 2 month old mastectomy scars. The only change after several weeks of use was a series of lumps on the incision lines! Not only a waste of money, but my scars look worse than they did before I started using this product.

I gave birth to my son ten days ago. My daughter was born three years ago. I used Bio Oil with both pregnancies. Once per day for the last four months of each pregnancy. I have no stretch marks from my pregnancies. Many years ago I was into running and developed stretch marks on my upper thighs. So, I am prone to stretch marks. Bio Oil protected my skin while I was pregnant. I highly recommend Bio Oil as a preventative. I do not see any improvement on old scars though. So, if you are pregnant... slather it on - it really worked for me!
