Pros: easy way to have attractive nails

Love this product! It is perfect for a quick, easy, inexpensive manicure. Makes nail looked finished and one coat of clear polish on top makes nails look great. One suggestion is get a nice sharp pencil sharpener to keep the pencil in perfect working order,

Pros: Easy application, Long Lasting

I have been using this for about 2 years now and I love it, although I never get it wet first because it didn't work as well. I found it really easy to use, but yes it does need to be sharp. You apply it to the underside of the nail, and what I do is have the pencil tip flush with the underside of my nail and twist the pencil along it; that way the tip of the pencil stays sharp for a loooong time (because you aren't pressing on it with the tip, you're using that entire part of the pencil). This is by no means permanent, but for any event, your nails can look GREAT (especially if you get a nail buffer/shiner as well). I think the longest my nail tips have stayed fully white is about 4 days, but it's such a simple little thing to do, that it's completely worth it. I also like the additional cuticle tool for the lid, for an extra little perk.

Not really what I was looking for

I have really long natural nails and purchased this pencil to make them more opaque, brighter and even-colored. Unfortunately this stuff is like wet chalk, and it's was impossible for me to get an even coat under the nail. The pencil gets mushy when you wet it (as the directions state) so it is dull and needs sharpening after the first use. Don't even try applying two coats, because the wetness of the pencil takes the first coat off when you try to apply it again. If you like to wash your hands throughout the day, forget about it. I can only see this being useful to people with nails barely past the end of the finger, on a special occasion where it only needs to look nice for a few hours. Though, in that case I'd just get gel/acrylic nails or simply paint them. Then at least you can wash your hands without your manicure washing off with it.

Pros: Gentle, Easy To Use

Gives your nails a nice clean look. Will not give you a manicured look. The pencil can be hard to keep sharpened. To be able to fit the pencil under your nails so that you can apply the product, you must keep it sharpened. Ingredients are safe, not full of toxins like most nail polish.
