I bought a package of the Blue Envy because I wanted to dye my tips blue. I was going for a really vibrant blue, and this product didn't disappoint. I started by bleaching my tips. They didn't get particularly light, but they did lighten up a bit in the recommended time. I then put in some blue dye, waited the recommended time, and rinsed it. Unfortunately, all of the dye came out when I rinsed it. Since there was still a lot of dye left, I decided to wait until my hair was dry again and use up the rest of the dye trying again.
This time, I put on a ton of dye, wrapped up my hair, and slept with the dye in. If you really want the dye to stay in, I would recommend doing this. I dyed my hair about 4 months ago, and it's barely faded. My hair was dripping blue for at least 6 weeks after I originally dyed it, but I just used black T-shirts to dry my hair so I wouldn't ruin my towels and didn't sleep with wet hair (which I rarely do anyway). This dye has lasted wayyyy longer than I thought it would - even longer than my friend's "permanent" dye did.

I had actually bought the Hair Chalk at first, but I soon found out that it was messy, made my throat burn and stopped up my nose, and came off in puffs just by turning my head. So being unsatisfied with it, I took it back and got a refund. After seeing the Splat Permanent kits, I thought, why not? So I bought the Blue Envy kit, and I REGRET IT. I've been coloring my hair for YEARS, and this is by far the messiest, most unpredictable hair dye that I have ever used. I followed ALL of the directions to the letter, and somehow, my hair instead came out dark green-blue!! Never using Splat again! :(

this product works FINE. i have been using it for YEARS. what people DON'T realize is that you have to rinse your hair for a good ten minutes AND wash and condition it to completely get the dye out the first time. it will run all the time if you don't due to there still being color in your hair. it is very different from regualr hair dyes. the color dye doesn't require activator and has a much higher density than most.
so here's a tip...the color will work GREAT if you rinse it the right way!!

This is the best hair dye on the market by far! I love the cool and unique color I get on my naturally light brown hair. I have to say that it makes my hair super shiny and healthy looking as a bonus. I wish there were even more colors to choose from such as mahogany or dark chocolate for when I want to class it up too!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by AwEsOmEchristy I have blonde hair and the product worked very well. It stayed for about 5 weeks and started running so I washed it and redid it. My friend Kimmy has dark brown hair and the dark blue worked for 4 weeks. I definitely recomenned this product. GO SPLAT!!!

i bought the aqua rush (the picture on the front of the box showed dark blue hair) and ended up with greenish-yellowish streaks. hardly any blue at all. terrible product.
