Rated 4 out of 5Â by Computer Guy A great gift!
I got this as a gift from someone after I mentioned that I wanted to get a thermos to keep hot chocolate in. This little guy is fantastic! I always prep it with hot water before pouring in the powder and really hot water, and I've got hot chocolate for pretty much the entire day. My only gripe is that with no handles of any kind, it may be a bit hard to carry if your hands are already full. A baby bottle brush makes clean up a cinch.

I randomly stumbled across this product while buying some medicine in walgreens. I purchased it because I needed a spill proof container for my coffee, but I never expected it to work so well as a thermos. It keeps my coffee hot for at least 8 hours, and if I don't open it frequently during the day it will easily stay hot for 10+ hours. If you buy this and you don't get that length of heat retention, then filling it with hot water and letting it sit for 10 minutes before you use it will do the trick. I am so glad I made this purchase, the only downside is that it's elongated shape makes it hard to clean inside.

I mainly use this Thermos for hot tea and water.
I'm fairly impressed on how long the hot water lasts.
I like the way you can slightly unscrew the top and pour.
One thing I DO NOT like about it is that the top of the Thermos gets warm/hot because of the cap.
When you feel the heat, it means you are loosing heat. Therefore, it will cool off quicker which is a bad thing considering that it's supposed to keep hot liquids in, not out.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Cyclepup Great little thermos!
I use this thermos when cycling in cold weather. It fits in my bottle cage perfectly! I prefer hot chocolate to coffee, and this thermos has kept my drink steaming hot for at least 8 hours. Just prep the thermos by filling it with hot tap water for 10-min before use. It won't work for drinking while pedaling, but it's perfect for rest stops. The stainless steel body will get scratched a bit from your bottle cage, but that's just aesthetics. Having a cup of hot chocolate at the ready on a cold, windy ride is a luxury I don't want to do without. For cleaning I use a soft bottle brush. Works perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Bookworm It works!
Suggest unhappy reviewers run hot tap water into the thermos and let it preheat for 10 min or so, while the coffee's working. THEN you get 8 hours of really hot. The older glass-lined ones seem a bit better insulated and may not need a preheat. I had one of those, but it hit the floor and committed suicide. This item is bomb-proof.
