I live in an apartment and I sleep odd hours. I use these ear plugs to keep out the noise of other residents getting ready for or leaving for work, as well as when they have loud company. They totally block out noise, however, I can still hear my cell phone alarm go off so I don't oversleep. I take them on vacations as well so I cannot hear early risers or parties.

I have been using the Mack ear plugs for years and just tried these for the first time and they are fine. I do not see anything wrong with them and they do the job. I use them for sleeping and I have no complaints.

I see a lot of negative reviews, but I found these Walgreen plugs worked great for me.
I had been using the Macks silicone plugs but found them too large for my ears. These Walgreen plugs are smaller and fit just right. I use the plugs to drown out traffic sounds when I sleep (and I have a few fans running, too).

These are a poor substitute for Mack's silicone ear plugs. They don't work nearly as well, are about 2/3 the size, and are extremely sticky. If you only need minimal noise reduction, then these might be okay. But, if you want real deal ear plugs, get Mack's. They're right next to the Walgreen's version. I don't understand why Walgreen's would put out a generic version of Mack's ear plugs, and then make them far inferior. Seems like bad business logic to me.

i bought this item at the store and thinking that they would be good, they wernt. i got them because i dive and water filled my ear and they fell out. i didnt go past the limit and my ears were dry and clean when i pu them in. dont get this. im returning mine. :(

Bought the Walgreen's brand earplugs to try to save a couple bucks over the Mack's silicone. Won't buy again; they aren't as sticky as the Mack's brand so they didn't seal well and fell out of my ears even though my ears are clean. I wear silicone earplugs for sleeping to drown out teenage neighbors' obnoxious noisy cars at night; will go back to Mack's.
