What are the side effects of Penlac?
Penlac® (ciclopirox)
is a medication that's prescribed to treat fungal infections of the fingernails and toenails by
killing the fungus responsible for these infections. Penlac® is a lacquer that you apply
directly to the affected nails.
The most common side effects of Penlac® are redness
of the skin surrounding the nail, rash and nail disorders. Studies show that about 9% of
people experience side effects. If you do experience any side effects while using Penlac®,
notify your doctor.
