How do I take Sectral?


You should take Sectral« (acebutolol) with water, and you can take it with or without food. The medication is usually taken either once or twice a day. Follow the dosing directions on your prescription and try to take your dose of Sectral« on a regular schedule.

What happens if I miss a dose of Sectral?

If you forget to take a dose of Sectral« (acebutolol) and quickly realize that you have forgotten, take the missed dose of Sectral«. If it is almost time for your next scheduled dose, take only the next dose. Do not take two doses of Sectral« at once.

How does Sectral interact with other medications or foods?

Before you take Sectral« (acebutolol), tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to acebutolol or any other drugs.

Food has no significant impact on how Sectral« (acebutolol) affects you.
