Tools and Technical Assistance

Walgreens, together with the Women's Business Development Center of Chicago and Nielsen Company, sponsored a Consumer Product Enhancement Competition in 2010 for women who own consumer product goods businesses in Illinois. The prize was $10,000 in cash, $5,000 worth of technical assistance and consumer measurement data from Nielsen, as well as the opportunity to become a qualified Walgreens supplier.

The Idea Factory, Inc., which designs and markets innovative shower and bath products for people and their pets, won the competition.
