1. Place box on its side with panel containing spout perforation facing the ceiling
2. Press down firmly on tab A, breaking through perforation
3. Pull entire perforated tab area (tabs A & B) to the left as indicated (on the box). Tear off tab A
4. Reach in and fined the Smart Tap spout. Pull out to first groove and slide into bottom right corner of opening
5. Tuck tab B into first groove
6. When correctly positioned, only black portion of the Smart Tap will show, with opening facing downward
7. Set box upright
