Scarlet Demand Deposit Account Terms and Conditions

Rewards Terms and Conditions ("Demand Deposit Account Rewards Terms") for the ScarletTM Bank Account

By opening a ScarletTM Bank Account ("Scarlet" or "Scarlet Bank Account") you hereby agree to be bound by these Demand Deposit Account Rewards Terms. A ScarletTM Mastercard debit card issued through the Scarlet Bank Account ("Scarlet Debit Card") is accepted for payment at any location (including online) where Mastercard debit cards are accepted for payment, including at any Walgreens store and Duane Reade store (the "Walgreens Participating Stores") or online at www.walgreens.com. You must be a member of the myWalgreens Membership Experience Program (the "myWalgreens Program") provided by Walgreens ("Member") prior to opening a ScarletTM Bank Account in order to earn Walgreens Cash rewards as provided in these Demand Deposit Account Reward Terms and under the myWalgreens Program. Please go to www.myWalgreens.com for more information on how to enroll in the myWalgreens Program. These Demand Deposit Account Reward Terms and supplement (or to the limited extent provided herein, are in lieu of certain terms of) the myWalgreens Program, the loyalty program terms and conditions to which you have agreed previously and which also apply. The amount of Walgreens Cash rewards a Member is able to earn using the Scarlet Debit Card is determined by the Eligible Purchases (defined below) a Member makes. The percentage of Walgreens Cash rewards earned on categories of Eligible Purchases set forth below serve to replace the percentage of Walgreens Cash rewards offered under the myWalgreens Program, unless otherwise specified below or determined by Walgreens or Scarlet in their respective sole discretion from time to time without notice.

Earning Walgreens Cash rewards

When you make an eligible net purchase (minus all credits, returns and adjustments) ("Eligible Purchase") with your ScarletTM Debit Card, you will automatically earn Walgreens Cash rewards as long as (1) your ScarletTM Bank Account is open and in good standing at the time you make an Eligible Purchase and (2) you are a Member of the myWalgreens Program at the time you earn your Walgreens Cash rewards. Eligible Purchases do not include the following: photo orders not picked up in store, alcohol, dairy, tobacco, stamps, phone/prepaid/gift cards, money orders/transfers, transportation passes, pseudoephedrine or ephedrine products, clinic services, pharmacy items or services covered under Washington state workers’ compensation, pharmacy items or services furnished by certain stores located in Arkansas, New Jersey or New York, prescriptions received through mail-order services, prescriptions received through specialty pharmacy services, sales tax, shipping, the myWalgreens Prescription Savings Club membership fee and items or services sold by third-party partners, as well as any gambling & lottery tickets, disputed transactions, unauthorized or fraudulent transactions, account fees, ATM transactions, bill pay, quasi cash & account funding transactions, and/or any other transactions that either Scarlet or Walgreens, as the case may be, may determine in its respective sole discretion are not eligible to earn Walgreens Cash rewards or are prohibited by law from earning Walgreens Cash rewards. There is no minimum amount of Eligible Purchases required before earning Walgreens Cash rewards under these Demand Deposit Account Rewards Terms. There is no maximum amount of Eligible Purchases that may earn Walgreens Cash rewards under these Demand Deposit Account Rewards Terms. Should you not utilize your Walgreens Cash rewards that you have earned in a transaction for six (6) consecutive calendar months, your membership will be deemed to be inactive and all accumulated Walgreens Cash rewards will be forfeited. For active Members, all Walgreens Cash rewards expire on a rolling 12-month basis and will expire at 11:59 pm CST on the last day of the redemption period. Eligible Purchases made using your Scarlet Debit Card outside of a Walgreens Participating Store or www.walgreens.com which result in fractions of Walgreens Cash rewards will be rounded up to the nearest whole cent of equal to or greater than U.S. Dollars ("USD") $0.005 and rounded down if less than USD $0.005. Eligible Purchases made using your Scarlet debit card at Walgreens Participating Stores and online at www.walgreens.com will be rounded up (or down) as provided in the myWalgreens Program terms and conditions.

  • Walgreens Branded Retail Products Purchases. You remain eligible to earn Walgreens Cash rewards equal to 5% of every USD spent for Eligible Purchases of retail products branded with Walgreens marks or logos through the myWalgreens Program at Walgreens Participating Stores or at www.walgreens.com.
  • Walgreens NonBranded Retail Products Purchases. You will earn Walgreens Cash rewards equal to 3% of every USD spent for Eligible Purchases of retail products that are not branded with Walgreens marks or logos when you use your Scarlet Debit Card to make Eligible Purchases at Walgreens Participating Stores or at www.walgreens.com.
  • Walgreens Pharmacy Purchases. You will earn Walgreens Cash rewards equal to 3% of every USD spent for Eligible Purchases of certain prescription drugs and immunizations when you use your Scarlet Debit Card to make Eligible Purchases at Walgreens. Pharmacy items or services furnished by certain stores located in Arkansas, New Jersey or New York, and prescriptions received through mail-order services do not qualify as Eligible Purchases.
  • All Other Purchases at non-Walgreens locations. You will earn Walgreens Cash rewards equal to 1% of every USD spent for Eligible Signature Spend Purchases, net of reversals, when you use your Scarlet Debit Card to make Eligible Signature Spend Purchases everywhere else Mastercard debit cards are accepted that are not listed above.
  • Promotional Purchases. From time to time, bonus Walgreens Cash rewards may be available for certain Eligible Purchases made using your Scarlet debit card and may include spending thresholds or limits, time period restrictions or other factors. Any such bonus Walgreens Cash rewards will be subject to the terms and conditions of such bonus rewards offer made to you in addition to these Demand Deposit Account Rewards Terms and the myWalgreens Program terms and conditions.

Earning Walgreens Cash rewards is subject to your ScarletTM Bank Account being open and in good standing at the time you make an Eligible Purchase using your Scarlet Debit Card and having an active membership in myWalgreens Program, as described in these Demand Deposit Account Rewards Terms. Any Walgreens Cash rewards earned on Eligible Purchases made using your Scarlet Debit Card at Walgreens Participating Stores or online at www.walgreens.com will be awarded to the myWalgreens Program membership associated with your Scarlet Bank Account either through the email or home address provided by Member. long as such myWalgreens Program account is open and (ii) Scarlet Debit Card on Eligible Purchases made other than at Walgreens Participating Stores or online at www.walgreens.com will be awarded to the myWalgreens Program account associated with your ScarletTM Bank Account, as long as the associated myWalgreens Program account is open.

Redeeming Walgreens Cash rewards is subject to the myWalgreens Program terms and conditions.

How to view and redeem Walgreens Cash rewards

To view Walgreens Cash rewards earned, log into myWalgreens Program at www.walgreens.com or on the Walgreens app or at the point of sale terminal in store. Member must provide his/her email address associated with their membership in order to redeem Walgreens Cash rewards. Walgreens Cash rewards adjustments and account closure

Adjustments will be made to your Walgreens Cash rewards as the result of cancelled transactions, refunds, other credits to your ScarletTM Bank Account (including those resulting from disputes) and other credits from merchants. If Scarlet or Walgreens believes you have (i) violated or are violating these Demand Deposit Account Reward Terms and/or the myWalgreens Program terms and conditions; or (ii) engaged in or are engaging in fraud or abuse or are otherwise gaming these Demand Deposit Account Reward Terms or the myWalgreens Program terms and conditions, there may be an adjustment to your Walgreens Cash rewards, closure of your ScarletTM Bank Account, or cancellation of your myWalgreens Program membership, as applicable. An adjustment may reduce Walgreens Cash rewards in your myWalgreens Program account balance in an amount up to the amount of any Walgreens Cash rewards originally earned on the Eligible Purchase. Adjustments may cause a negative balance in your Walgreens Cash rewards.

Other Conditions

You acknowledge that the Walgreens Cash rewards earned under the myWalgreens Program and under these Demand Deposit Account Rewards Terms have no cash value, may only be used in conjunction with the myWalgreens Program and that the Walgreens Cash rewards are purely promotional and are provided without the payment of any consideration or other thing of value. Walgreens Cash rewards accumulated under the myWalgreens Program are not redeemable for cash and may not be used for gift-giving purposes other than you can donate your Walgreens Cash rewards to the extent provided in, and in accordance with, the myWalgreens Program terms and conditions. Unless and until the Walgreens Cash rewards are earned, redeemed and used as provided in these Demand Deposit Account Rewards Terms and the myWalgreens Program terms and conditions, as applicable, you have no right, title or interest in the Walgreens Cash rewards. Nothing herein requires Scarlet or Walgreens to credit any Walgreens Cash rewards to your myWalgreens Program account balance if either or both of the Demand Deposit Account Rewards Terms program or the myWalgreens Program has or have been cancelled, terminated or suspended. These Demand Deposit Account Rewards Terms are subject to the governing law and arbitration provisions of the agreements governing your ScarletTM Bank Account. You consent and authorize Scarlet and its affiliates and any of its subsidiaries and affiliates and non-affiliated third parties with whom they manage these Demand Deposit Account Reward Terms to share information about you. These Demand Deposit Account Reward Terms are void where prohibited by federal, state or local law.

Demand Deposit Account Rewards Terms and Walgreens Cash rewards terms modifications

Scarlet reserves the right to cancel, modify, restrict, waive or terminate any aspects or features of these Demand Deposit Account Rewards Terms (including, without limitation, the number of Walgreens Cash rewards earned for each USD in Eligible Purchases made with your ScarletTM Bank Account) at any time and without prior notice. The ScarletTM Bank Account must be used solely for personal, family or household purposes and may not be used for business or commercial purposes.
